Pioneer Colorado merchant. B. Oct. 11, 1854 Atwater, Ohio. Moved to Colorado 1873 during Leadville boom days. Lived in Creede, Cripple Creek, Pueblo (where he was mayor), and Denver (where he owned Sharp Music Company, 1900-1925). Board member of Colorado State Agricultural College, 1896-1906.
